Stay for three days in the heart of mainland Greece and visit its many treasures: the Corinth Canal, the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, the archaeological sites of Olympia and Delphi with a guide!
1st day: Departing from Athens you will take the road towards the Corinth Canal where you will make a short stop. You will reach Epidaurus and visit its theatre, famous for its conservation and remarkable acoustics. You will make a stop in Nafplion, which was one of Modern Greece's first capitals in the 1830s. Finally, you will go to Mycenae, ancient kingdom of Agamemnon, where you will visit the archaeological site and the tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon, you will travel to Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.
2nd day: Your day will be dedicated to visiting the archaeological site of Olympia which houses the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the Altar of the Olympic Flame, the stadium and the archaeological museum. You will pass through some of mainland Greece's most iconic places, such as Nafpaktos, before you reach Delphi. Dinner and overnight stay in Delphi.
3rd day: You will start your day by visiting the archaeological site of Delphi and its remains. In Ancient Greece, Delphi was considered the centre of the world, because according to mythology it was in Delphi that the two eagles, sent by Zeus, met. You will visit the Castalia Spring, the temple of Apollo known for its oracle, Tholos and the Delphi Museum. Finally, you will enjoy two hours of free time before being driven back to Athens in the afternoon.
