Description

Enjoy an original activity for all the family during your stay at Ayers Rock! After sunset, you will set off to see the stars in the company of an astronomer!

There are no big cities for hundreds of miles, so the stars will be particularly bright and visible. The perfect conditions to see the stars! The activity is split into 3 parts:

  • The past: you will learn how Aboriginal Australians used and still use the stars today to orientate themselves in the desert or even predict the coming seasons.
     
  • The present: telescopes and tablets will be available so that you can see the stars, planets and other constellations to the sound of the commentary of your astronomer guide.
     
  • The future: with the help of your astronomer guide, you will reflect on our planet, its future and the human species, etc.
     

All in all, you will be taking part in an enriching and fun activity, perfect for young and old!
