Next, you'll head to Loughcrew, made up of some 30 tombs carved in stone dating back 5,000 years. You'll learn more from your guide's commentary.
You'll continue your journey to the Fore distillery where you'll discover the secrets of local artisan distilling. A guided tasting will be offered at the end of the tour with Irish rum and poitin*. It will also be possible to have lunch on site (meal not included).
After your lunch break, you'll have the opportunity to discover the Fore Abbey, accompanied by your guide. Founded by Saint Fechin in the 7th century, this site is famous for its seven wonders, including the water that flows uphill and the tree that doesn't burn.
