Explore the underwater world of the Galápagos archipelago with this snorkelling activity at Punta Pitt on San Cristobal Island!
Departing from Puerto Ayora Port on Santa Cruz Island, you will board a boat and head for San Cristobal Island. You will arrive at Punta Pitt, a site that lies on the extreme north-east of the island.
When you arrive, you will explore the flora and fauna in this unique place. Put on your snorkel mask and dive into the crystal clear waters from this paradise beach. You will explore the seabed and discover the marine wildlife that hides there. You will see many tropical fish at this site, such as the King angel fish, one of the most amazing species in the Galápagos. You may also be lucky enough to spot Parrotfish and Pacific creole fish, two species that can only be found in the waters of the archipelago.
A packed lunch will be provided at mealtime. You will enjoy a typical Ecuadorian dish. You will be taken back to Puerto Ayora Port at the end of your activity.
