Description

Located near the Grand Canyon South Rim, drive and walk through Bearizona Park and meet all the North American animals, including bears!

Bearizona is a 65-hectare wildlife park located in the impressive Kaibab National Forest in northern Arizona, It's ideally situated on the Grand Canyon route and is a fantastic stop for road-trippers. You can drive around at your own pace and in your own car: you'll drive through over 5km of pine forest where bears, bison and wolves roam freely in their natural habitat!

You can also walk the trails of Fort Bearizona and see smaller animals including newborns. Along the paths, you can join numerous activities where the keepers will help you understand the behaviour of the animals and interact with some of them. Kids will love meeting the small animals at Fort Bearizona farm - a touching and fun moment!

The Fort also puts on the "Birds of Prey" show (March to September) featuring Arizona's raptors (eagles, owls, falcons, etc.). A second show features Native American cliffside dwellings, a sparkling waterfall over 7 metres high and most importantly the Bearizona black jaguars!

When visiting this wooded park, you can also go on an open bus tour (there are no windows) accompanied by an informative and entertaining on-board guide!
