Explore the island of Gozo at your own pace for a day with this Boat + Bus pass!

Gozo is a charming Mediterranean island that's part of the Maltese archipelago, located off the north-west coast of mainland Malta. Although smaller than Malta, Gozo is known for itsnatural beauty, relaxing atmosphere and rich cultural traditions.

This pass includes the boat crossing from Malta to the island of Gozo and back again. 

The "Hop-On Hop-Off" multi-stop bus is a superb way to discover the island of Gozo at your own pace. You can hop on and off as you please at the various stops offered along the way, allowing you to explore the sites and attractions that interest you.

You'll be able to visit stunning sites such as Ramla Bay, a magnificent red sand beach famous for its natural beauty and crystal clear waters. The Ggantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising 2 Neolithic temples, and one of the oldest complexes in the world! During the circuit, you'll also be able to admire the Citadel, which is in the heart of Gozo and dates back to medieval times. The multi-stop bus means you can visit lots of Gozo's must-see sites!

When it's time to return to the mainland, you can board any boat from the port of Mgarr.

  • Availability: every day (except under exceptional circumstances),
  • Times: Times vary according to the season. We recommend you consult the above timetables beforehand
  • From Malta, you can board any shuttle boat from Sliema (near Valletta) or Buġibba (in the north of the island) that goes to the port of Mgarr in Gozo
  • For the "Hop-on Hop-off" bus in Gozo: There are 2 lines - North and South

Regarding the bus timetable:

  1. The Savina Creativity stop: the bus generally stops for 10 minutes
  2. For visitors who wish to change bus, you can do so at the Victoria stop. The bus stop is located a few metres from the Victoria Police Station
  3. The Ta' Pinu stop: the bus stops for a few minutes for a photo opportunity
  4. There may be delays during high season due to traffic
  • You can get to the ports of Sliema and Bugibba using Malta's multi-stop buses (more information is in your voucher).
