Description

Discover the history of the famous “red city!”

From your hotel, set out with your guide to explore Marrakech. You will be taken to the town’s various famous palaces and buildings. Also see the Koutoubia Mosque, whose minaret dominates the city.

Then make your way to the Saadian tombs, a prestigious mausoleum that was discovered in 1917. End your historical tour of Marrakech with a visit to the Bahia Palace. The impressively large palace is one of the city’s main buildings.

You will be accompanied back to your hotel at around 12:30pm so you can make the most of the rest of your day as you wish.

Good to know

  • Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Duration: 3 hours approx.
  • Time: 9:30am at your hotel for establishments located within the urban perimeter of Marrakech. If you are staying outside this area, a shuttle service may be available in the hotels to take you to the pick-up point for your excursion
  • Important: The transfer included is only valid for hotels and private accommodation located within the urban perimeter of Marrakech (Medina, Hivernage, Guéliz, etc.). If you are staying outside this perimeter (for example in the Palmeraie, Ourika road, Fez road or Ouarzazate road), a shuttle service may be available in the hotels to take you to the departure point for your city-centre excursion, which will be communicated to you after booking. Otherwise, you will need to take a taxi to get there.  
  • Language: tour available in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian
  • To take part in this activity, simply present your voucher to the service provider on the day
  • Pick-up from your hotel is only available for hotels situated in the centre of Marrakech
  • A minimum of 2 participants is required to book this activity
  • The tour will take visitors to the ancient medina, and as such is not advised for visitors with reduced mobility
