Description

Created in 1948 by choreographers George Balanchine and Lincoln Kirstein, the NYCB is today a delightful mix of classical and contemporary ballet. NYC Ballet is renowned worldwide for its excellence.

You will enjoy the show and take in the sights! You can watch the artists dance to the rhythm of classic music. Depending on the season and the programme, discover (or rediscover) Balanchine and other NYCB classics, or new modern ballets!

At the time of booking you will be asked to select your seating position (see seating plan below):

  • Orchestra seats and sides of floors (cheapest category, less well-positioned seats)
  • Orchestra centre-back seats, 1st floor and 2nd floor mid-side seats, 3rd floor
  • Orchestra mid-centre seats, 1st floor front side seats, 3rd and 4th floor front seats
  • Orchestra front and centre seats, 1st floor centre seats (best seats, most expensive category)

You will receive the best available seats (side by side) in the category of your choice at the time of booking. We therefore advise you to book as early as possible in order to get the best seats.

  • Availability: Tuesday to Sunday (except under exceptional circumstances)
  • Schedules: vary by season, generally:
    - 7:30 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
    - 8 pm Friday and Saturday
    - 3 pm Sunday
  • Duration: varies by show, generally around 2 hours
  • Location: David H. Koch Theater in Manhattan, NYC
  • You will need a valid ID to enter the show
  • Children under 5 years old are not admitted
