Learn all about the Native Indian culture of the region and enjoy a jeep tour and hike in the Indian Canyons!

Departing from Palm Springs, head to Indian Canyons, the former land of the Agua Caliente de Cahuilla Indians. Accompanied by a professional guide, learn about the history of this Native American tribe by discovering its culture, way of life and even some of its ancient legends. Admire a number of impressive rock formations as well as one of the largest palm tree oases in the United states.

Continue your tour with a visit of Andreas Canyon located in the heart of the Indian Canyons and enjoy a short hike of around 1.5 kilometers. Along the trail, your guide will explain how the Natives used the surrounding plants for survival. At the end of your visit, you will be taken back to Palm Springs.

  • Participants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • This activity is not recommended for people who suffer from neck or back problems and pregnant women
  • We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes, closed shoes, a hat and sunglasses
  • 7 participants maximum per jeep
  • A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to go ahead. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, a refund or an alternative date will be proposed
