Located in the Eure department, the commune of Giverny, source of inspiration for the Impressionist painter, is particularly famous for being home to Claude Monet's house, listed as a "historic monument".
After a coach ride of around 1h30, you can immerse yourself in the world of Claude Monet and explore his house and gardens. You'll be able to admire the different landscapes of this village, with the flower garden and water garden designed by Monet. You can also observe the water lily pond (the model for his "Les Nymphéas" paintings) with its play of colors and its legendary Japanese-inspired bridge, while listening to the commentary of your audioguide.
You'll also be free to visit Monet's home, with its various rooms, the studio, the "blue salon" for reading, the dining room... You'll discover his former living and working quarters, as well as one of the world's most important collections of Japanese prints.
Finally, you're free to visit the impressionisms Giverny Museum, where you can discover the collection centered around this artistic movement.
