You will meet your sailing team in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains and board your boat, before setting off in search of the marine mammals that you will be able to observe in the open sea, in their natural habitat!
Many species of fish live in the waters of Reunion Island, including at least 4 species of dolphins that live along Reunion's coasts all year round. In season (during the southern winter from July to October), you are likely to see humpback whales as well. They come to warm up in the Indian Ocean during their migration, to breed and give birth to their babies.
On this sea trip, you will benefit from the crew's commentary to learn more about these marine animals. A snack will also be served on board, varying according to the chosen schedule: In the morning, hot drinks and fresh fruit juices with pastries; during the day, sodas and punch* with samosas.
After this dolphin and whale excursion, you will be taken back to port.
