Visit the city of Reykjavík with a Viking!
Vikings have a very important place in Iceland because, according to legend, they were the ones who discovered the island in the 9th century.
Accompanied by your guide, you will leave for a 2-hour tour in the Icelandic capital. You will learn about the myths surrounding the island and the history of the Vikings including the opportunity to see the surviving Viking house in Reykjavík. You will then pass through the port, established in 1913 and now the largest on the island, before heading to the Harpa Concert Hall, a tower of glass and steel.
You will then reach the Hallgrímskirkja Church, famous for its architecture that represents the structure of basaltic organs. To finish your tour, you will go to the Reykjavík pond, one of the locals' favourite places.
In winter, you will even see them skating on the frozen water.
Your guide will also share with you tips for good restaurants and other places to ensure you enjoy the city. On this tour you will discover the hidden places of the capital and learn more about Icelandic customs.
