Description

Get ready for a relaxing day out discovering Saona, one of the most beautiful islands in the Dominican Republic!

Departing from your hotel in Punta Cana, make your way to the boarding zone in Bayahibe and take a seat on a large catamaran. Enjoy a 2-hour-long cruise in a typical Dominican ambience

Once you arrive at Saona Island, which is part of a designated nature reserve, you can enjoy a lunch prepared with local produce (you can also order lobster for a $25 supplement). You'll have some free time to laze on the beach or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of this idyllic island.

The return journey is aboard a speedboat and will include a stop for a swim in a natural pool that is home to lots of starfish. At the end of the day, you'll be taken back to your hotel.

Good to know

  • Availability: every Wednesday and Friday(except in exceptional cases)
  • Departure location : pick-up at your La Romana hotel around 8am, exact time will be confirmed after booking
     
  • For snorkeling, you must be able to swim and be comfortable alone in the water
  • Children under 13 years of age may not participate in snorkeling and will remain on board the boat during the dive
  • Adults wishing to take part in the excursion but not in the snorkeling will be able to remain on the boat during the dive
  • You are advised to wear comfortable shoes, take sun cream, your swimsuit, towel, hat or cap and camera
  • This activity may be subject to change due to weather conditions
