Board a Tuscany-bound train in Rome and set off to discover the magnificent city of Florence, which possesses a rich and renowned historical, architectural, artistic and religious history. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982, the city centre is full of historic and artistic buildings.
In small groups, explore the city centre and admire the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, the Saint-John Baptistery, the Piazza dell Signria and Florence Cathedral. Lunch will be served at a typical Italian restaurant, after which you will have some free time at the Piazza Santa Croce.
The afternoon will be spent visiting one of the most famous museums in Florence: the Uffizi Gallery. Admire the paintings and sculptures of the Italian masters, whilst listening to your guide’s anecdotes.
After this busy sightseeing tour of Florence, you'll take the train back to Rome at the end of the day.
