Are you familiar with the Segway? This modern, practical and enjoyable mode of transport will allow you to travel freely through the Italian capital's streets.

A training session will be given at the beginning of your tour, enabling you to make the most of your Segway in complete comfort and safety. Your guide will take you on a tour to discover Rome's major landmark sites.

Your Segway tour will give you an insight into what life was like during the Roman Empire. Discover the history of this ancient culture, people's beliefs and religion, their society and its organization...

Ride through Rome whilst admiring the capital's most famous monuments such as the Colosseum, the Forum, the Circus Maximus and the Capitoline hill.

  • Safety helmets provided upon request
  • Children under 16 years and persons over 70 years are not permitted to take part in this activity
  • The use of a Segway is strongly discouraged for pregnant women
  • The Segway drivers must be in suitable physical condition and able to climb on and off the vehicles without assistance
  • Minimum height of driver: 1.45m / 4ft 9in
  • Minimum driver weight: 45kg / 99lb
  • Maximum driver weight: 113kg / 250lb
  • The driver must be in good mental and physical condition
  • Please do not carry large bags on the Segway
  • The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited on all the Segway circuits and any customer suspected of having consumed alcohol before or during the trip will be excluded from the tour without refund
  • In the event of bad weather conditions (rain, snow etc.) the tour will not be cancelled. However, for safety reasons the guide may decide to continue the tour on foot. In this case, several options will be offered: 
  1. Continue the tour and do not receive a refund
  2. Receive a refund of 50% of the price of the activity
  3. Receive a voucher to take part in the tour on another day. The voucher you will be given is valid for you or another person for up to 1 year after the date of the cancelled tour
  • The tour starts promptly at the indicated departure time and will not wait for late arrivals. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure there is enough time to collect your Segway and helmet
  • Comfortable, practical clothing suitable for Segway riding recommended (avoid high-heeled shoes)
