Meet Santa Claus, drive a snowmobile and enjoy a reindeer sleigh ride with this activity in Lapland!
From Rovaniemi, drive to our partner's agency where you'll be kitted out and briefed before the first activity of the day: driving a snowmobile.
You'll be two on a snowmobile, and follow your professional guide through the snowy forests of Lapland. During the activity you'll have the opportunity to swap places with the driver (if you have a valid license). Children will be seated on a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile.
At the end of the ride, you'll return to the rental center, drop off your snowmobile and board a bus for the second activity of the day. During your journey you'll pass the Arctic Circle before arriving at Santa's village.
You'll have some free time to stroll through the snowy alleys of Santa's village, observe the traditional Lappish wooden houses and visit Santa's Main Post Office from where you can also send a postcard with a unique stamp. Finally, you'll meet Santa himself in his Santa Claus Office, a magical moment for young and old.
After this busy morning, you'll follow your professional guide to a restaurant near Rovaniemi and settle in for lunch. Lunch will be served buffet-style, and depending on the season you can enjoy classic dishes as well as traditional Finnish fare.
At the end of your lunch, you'll meet Santa's reindeer: Tornado, Dancer, Dashing, Fury, Comet, Cupid, Thunder and Lightning, and climb aboard a sleigh pulled by these Christmas mascots. You'll enjoy a sleigh ride through the white landscapes of Lapland.
You'll be driven back to Rovaniemi after an unforgettable day in Lapland.
