Leaving from the centre of Vienna, you will take a bus to the city of Salzburg, known for being the birthplace of the famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as well as for being the filming location of the film "The Sound of Music".
On your bus journey, you can admire the Austrian countryside and the picturesque landscapes of Salzkammergut: its lush green mountains and tranquil lakes.
On arriving in Salzburg, you'll enjoy a guided tour of the historic centre and explore the city's must-see landmarks such as Salzburg Cathedral, Salzburg's central street Getreidegasse which is home to Mozart's birthplace and the Festspielhaus Salzburg, Salzburg's Grand Festival Theatre. You'll also visit the filming locations of "The Sound of Music", including the fountains and the garden at Mirabell Palace.
You will then enjoy some free time for lunch and a stroll through the narrow streets of Salzburg, before getting back on the road at around 4pm and being driven back to Vienna.
