Travel back through San Diego's history on a guided walking tour with an English-speaking guide!
You'll start by meeting your English-speaking guide in the heart of Balboa Park, San Diego's central city park. Enjoy a stroll through this grandiose park, which was one of the first green spaces in the United States designed for recreational purposes. The park has loads of attractions, including museums, theatres, shops, restaurants and the San Diego Zoo! Your guide will show you secret spots in Balboa Park while telling you about its history.
Once done and after a 10-minute drive (you'll need to make your own way there), you'll meet your guide outside Chicano Park, in the heart of Barrio Logan, San Diego's oldest Mexican neighbourhood. You'll embark on a tour of the city's Mexican districts, including lots of street art by local artists that has made Chicano Park so famous. Barrio Logan has an authentic atmosphere thanks to its craft shops and numerous cafés. You'll learn more about the historical links between Mexico and the United States. You'll also stop off at one of the area's famous taco restaurants where the tortillas are home-made!
