Come and meet more than 12,000 animals living in one of the world's biggest and most beautiful zoos!
The San Diego Zoo is one of the most famous in the world. Occupying more than 40 hectares, it's home to more than 12,000 animals of some 650 species from across the planet. Among the species to be found are koalas, pandas, polar bears, rhinoceroses, great apes and many more. Firmly committed to the well-being of the animals, the zoo has recreated all kinds of natural habitats so its residents feel right at home.
Your entry ticket also grants you access to a guided bus tour, giving you an incredible view of the entire zoo (approximately 35 minutes, with commentary in English). You can even get an aerial view of the site by taking the cable car!
Shows and animal presentations are offered throughout the day, adding an educational and entertaining dimension to your visit. Don't miss the opportunity to take part in special tours, such as the "Animals in Action" or the "Discovery Tour", to meet some of the zoo's inhabitants up close and learn more about conservation efforts.
Enjoy a day out getting up-close and personal with nature at the San Diego Zoo!
